The Influence Society House
Nestled in the enchanting French countryside, the inaugural Influence Society House opened its doors in mid October, marking the genesis of a series of curated events unlike any other. Nearly 50 hand-picked hotelier executives converged at a recently restored, grand estate just outside of Paris over the course of a week - for a symposium that balanced industry education with luxury living.
"At the crossroads of luxury, connection, and innovation, Influence Society proudly presents a unique rendezvous for industry leaders to gather and grow."
-- Sebastien Felix, Influence Society Founder & CEO
Guests participated in collaborative group discussions amongst a range of presenters with a focus on digital marketing strategies and tools that are transforming how travelers and hotels engage. A full display of the agenda can be found here.
Award winning Executive French Chef Arthur of Atelier Garner and his team cultivated culinary delights as each farm-to-table meal was prepared and served with local, organic ingredients that left everyone's taste buds buzzing. Guests were also treated to an evening of truffle delights as renowned tartufai (or truffle hunter) delivered an unforgettable experience, which included a visual presentation that detailed the story of his craft that's been passed down from generations.
HOTEL FIELD TRIPS
No hotelier retreat would've been complete without visiting some or Paris' most iconic symbols of hospitality. The first of the two pilgrimages was a voyage to the towering TOO Hotel, which overlooks the Parisian city skyline. With breathtaking views of La Tour Eiffel, our group enjoyed a decadent lunch. That sit down was followed by a private tour of grand site and culminated with a picture-perfect gathering at the observatory deck.
The week-long congregation concluded with our group journeying to the pristine Le Grand Mazarin Hotel in the famed Le Marais district of Paris. Our ensemble was given a behind-the-scenes peak into the just opened suites, world-class amenities and VIP sections of the lavishly decorated destination. With its renowned French style that's coupled with an eccentric artistic flair, our clique was offered detailed guidance into what's gone into the standout concept and learned first-hand how the hotel is attracting travelers from around the world.
